About the Role:

Nestlé IT is seeking a Data Engineer to join our global services operations in Bangalore. As part of the world’s largest food and beverage company, you’ll collaborate across local and global teams to deliver innovative technologies that drive Nestlé’s digital transformation. This role sits at the intersection of technology and business, helping transform data into actionable insights to support Nestlé’s diverse digital, analytics, and innovation goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Data Engineers, Data Stewards, and BI Developers to develop and manage end products.
• Ensure on-time delivery, high data quality, and proactive communication on monthly data refresh cycles.
• Conduct data analysis using SQL, Excel, Power BI, and other tools to answer end-user queries.
• Manage knowledge retention through up-to-date process documentation.
• Ensure efficient data operations including ingestion, processing, harmonization, and quality checks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data processing failures effectively.
• Communicate with end users for feedback and issue resolution.
• Track tasks and maintain stakeholder communication for smooth project delivery.

Key Technical Skills:

Azure Data Engineering, Snowflake, SQL, Excel, Power BI, Data Mining, Agile, Scrum

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering on Azure.
• Experience with Snowflake is a value add.
• Proven ability to work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them for technical teams.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other industry-standard methodologies.
• Strong skills in data mining and analysis using tools like Excel, Power BI, and SQL.
• A solution mindset, critical thinking ability, and strong team-player attitude.
